Our History
For over 15 years, Royals & Associates, LLC, as been engulfed and passionate about sports and what it can do in the lives of those involved. From playing, to coaching, officiating and now supporting the development of the current & next generation of officials it has been a rewarding journey. Darryl Royal started in Washington DC on the Warrior AC Team. After initiation into the USFFL Hall Of Fame he could not go far from the game, so he coached briefly before finding fulfillment as an official. He has traveled around the U.S.A. officiating a variety of styles, ages and levels of football, while also officiating Lacrosse, Softball & Basketball. Along the way he has mentored and groomed numerous officials who have gone on to meet their goals. This is how Darryl came to be a high caliber official; other qualified officials mentored and continue to mentor him - to maintain and elevate the standard.
